Daniel (Yong Woo) Kim

Daniel (Yong Woo) Kim is from Commack, New York. In 2014, he graduated cum laude from New York University with a B.A. in Political Science and History. Before law school, Daniel worked as an Honors Paralegal Specialist at the Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division in Washington, D.C. He also worked at the United States Attorney's Office, S.D.N.Y. as a Paralegal Specialist with the Terrorism and International Narcotics Unit. During his 1L summer, Daniel returned to the USAO’s office, where he worked with the Public Corruption Unit. For his 2L summer, he worked in the Special Matters & Government Investigations Practice Group at King & Spalding LLP’s New York office. At Vanderbilt, Daniel has also participated in APALSA, Moot Court, and Vanderbilt in Venice. During his free time, Dan likes to ski, watch the Office and Pawn Stars, and have his heart broken by his New York Yankees and Los Angeles Lakers (avid fan since 1999) on an annual basis.
