VJTL recognizes outstanding work


The Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law recognized outstanding student work at its annual banquet this week.

Jacob Stafford won the Masamichi Yamamoto Second Year Editor Award, which is awarded to a 2L member who has made the most significant contribution to the advancement of the Journal during the school year.

Dan Kay won the Third Year Editor Award, which is awarded to a 3L member of the Journal who has done the most outstanding work on the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law during the school year.

Stephen Fowler won the Grace Wilson Sims Award for Student Writing in Transnational Law, which is awarded to the student who authored the most exceptional note on a transnational issue published by the Journal this year.

Taylor Weaver won the Grace Wilson Sims Medal in Transnational Law, which is awarded to the executive board member, other than the Editor in Chief, who has done the most outstanding work on the Journal this year.
